Greeting! With this post I am pleased to announce general availability of the new Ample SDK 0.9.4 build. Main development focus was on Melbet the core module of the SDK - runtime, yet multiple tweaks were applied to all UI languages too...

To me this looks very interesting. Kind of like Google Gears but without the annoying plugin and slottica on rendering technologies instead of back-end technologies. But the premise is the same. Bring cutting edge features to browsers that do not yet support them. / eric2
The idea of a cross platform XUL implementation might not be new, but the quality of the implementation impresses me. An this time it’s not a leaky abstraction like GWT, hiding away all markup. If they really go Open Source then I am quite sure this will reshape Web Development! / Rusco
